FCET Staff School, Akoka – Head Teacher
On behalf of the Staff and Management of FCE (T) Staff School, I wish you all a very happy New Year and welcome back to school from the vacation. By the grace of God, the school resumes for the Second Term 2023/2024 academic session on Monday 8th January 2024. I sincerely thank God Almighty for His guidance and protection from the last year 2023 and also thank God for His faithfulness in watching and keeping us alive.
Punctuality at School:
We expect all pupils and students to be in school by 7:30 am. Please help the children get to school on time. However, if your child will be late or absent, call the class teacher.
Hairstyles:
This is to remind parents that using artificial extensions on pupils’ and students’ hair is strictly forbidden. We want our children to look like schoolchildren. Girls must have their hair plaited, braided nicely or cut low for easy management; boys must also have their hair cut low. Fanciful and designer haircuts are not allowed.
Uniforms/Footwear:
This is also to remind you that the correct uniforms purchased in the school must be worn; those of them who have overgrown their wear should get new ones, please. Also, be reminded that only low-heeled black shoes and socks (not canvas) with white socks should be worn with the school uniforms and white canvas with PE and Friday Wear is allowed with black jeans and white canvas or colored canvas.
Clubs:
The school clubs are functioning effectively and our children are learning with fun. You are reminded that each child is required to belong to at least one of the clubs.
School Fees:
We enjoin our esteemed parents who are yet to settle bills for a second term to kindly do so on or before the 2nd of February, 2024, to save your child the embarrassment of being sent out of school on 05/02/2024.Admission:
We still have vacancies in all classes. Kindly inform your friends and neighbors.
Feeding:
Parents are to ensure that pupils take enough food and water to school, a child without food and water begs from others and we don’t encourage children to beg or collect things from their fellow pupils.
PTA:
PIA Levy is a must for all pupils.
SCHOOL.PROGRAMMES:
While embarking on our sound academic we move along with others, like the club activities t which teach and enlighten on the social aspects of the curriculum
